Lack of a Better Imagination

Yo! I made my very own almond paste for the first time today! It was really easy. I also made nutella but I have made that before. I am going to make a Christmas candy called "Mozart kulor" tomorrow so I just wanted to try to make my own almond paste just to see how easy it was and to learn how to do it. The most annoying thing was to peel off the peel on the almonds. I mean to took a few minutes. It was just boring. Oh my God you guys! Like I am so freaking bored right now! I mean seriously I could go to bed to just because I am bored. My boredom has led me to looking through pictures from Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. I don't now but for some reason I had a thing where I always took selfies of myself in the mirrors in the WC at the movies. For some reason the WC was always, well often anyway, empty so I just snapped some pictures. Hahaha. I am looking at all of my selfies from SB and IDK they are awesome, I mean hmmm I don't know how to say this in english (it so...

Throwback

OMFG! Today it has been one year since I saw Justin Bieber live in Los Angeles on the Believe Tour! WOW! One year, already! How time just flies by! Aaaah, I mean it feels like it was jus yesterday that I saw him. I am very thankful that I got that chance to see him live and especially in LA out of all places! I remember this day last year so well. I remember that I had set the alarm on my phone because I was going from SB to LA that morning with the Greyhound bus. Like yeah, I of course didn't not want to miss the bus. But did the alarm go off when it was supposed to? NO! Like thank you! So I had to stress through eveything but I made it. I made it to LA and the Justin Bieber concert all on my own! Woop woop! I think that's a pretty huge thing, like I was 19 then, not that's like a huge accomplishment for a 19 year old but I kind of think it is since I am not from the US and I managed to take care of myself and plan that whole trip....

Flashback Friday

Do you know what today is? Exactly one year ago to the date I set off on a four month (and four days) long journey which involved college in the US. One year! Fuck! I mean it has been on year! One year ago (um, this post might be dated August 10th 2013, so just to clarify I moved to California August 9th 2012 - it probably will be dated the 10th since I usually blog around midnight) I moved to freaking California in the freaking United States of America! I mean it's so hard to imagine it even though it has happened! I mean I lived a life long dream of mine. There is no better feeling the living your dreams! Even though I had some rough times (and believe me I had) I am so thankful for the opportunity because otherwise I would just be sitting here and thinking "Why?", "What if?" etc. You know? I am so thankful for everything. I have so many other dreams that I want to achieve! I just have to be more driven. I know, or I mean what's stopping me from my other...

In Erika's World

I met my cousin today. It was so much fun since I barely get to see her 'cause she lives in the UK and I live here, in Sweden. I was fun catching up and hear about life in the UK. I want to move there. I have always wanted to live in London. Well, always, hmm I mean since the first time I went to London, which was when I was eight. I've been to London twice. Once when I was eight and then again when I was 13. Three times, that's if you count when I flew home from Cali in December. I flew from LA to London and then from London to Stockholm. I was just at the airport so I don't really count that. Hmmm.  I can't wait until next year when I am going to London for the 1D concert. OMG! I have a list of thing that I want to do, which means I need a job ASAP. I hate job hunting! But I need a job plus I want one 'cause that I'll have something to do. I'll find one. I'll have to otherwise I will be in some deep ass shit. I need a job, if you have one for me...

Summer Fun

YOLO! Today I hung out with the amazing Linda. She informed me that Ke$ha is coming to Gröna Lund! Seriously, why didn't I know that?! I am so happy that I am not working that day! There are so many concerts this summer that I want to go to, I am either working that day or they are sold out. I am working the day The Script is coming! Seriously! They are amazing, I love them. Anyway, at least I get to see Ke$ha. I am actually excited to work this summer. I mean, I will have something to do. Also I will feel more responsible plus earning some money is never a bad thing. I have decided that I will put away half of what I will earn toward London next year. Yeah, I know flying to London (from Stockholm) is not expensive in comparison to flying to Los Angeles, which is on the other side of the world. I want to fly British or some other good airline plus I am not going to fly with some airline where I have to change flights. Like c'mon, I flying to London. LONDON, which is just abou...

Around The World

Watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians is not good! I miss Cali. LOL, but when I am in Cali I miss Europe. Hmm. Maybe I should move to London. Australia? LOL, that's even further away. Whatevs! I am not going to school next semester. What I'll be doing I haven't quite figured out. YOLO. Work I guess but I mean other than that. No, I don't know. All know it's summer now and I am going to try to enjoy my time the best way I can. I am also going to try not to over think the little things that upsets me, which is alot easier said than done. 'Cause I tend to do that alot. Hmmm. I feel so free! I mean no school, like what the heck am I going to do. Have fun! I want to go the beach but the beach here is not the same as in Cali. Gosh I miss. It's a different way there. Things are just different. Hmm. Maybe someday (obviously) I'll go back there. I need to. I'll buy a house in Malibu, Venice, Santa Monica or something. I don't know. Maybe in The Hills...

2012 Round Up

Image
Hmmm, so I guess it's time for the last post for the year. This has certainly been a year out of the ordinary. I graduated from high school, I went to Berlin with my senior classmates, I moved to the United States (and back again), plus (and do not forget) I went to school in the United States. Something I've always wanted to do, though I had high school in mind but if you do that you have to repeat that year when you come back and no than you. Now 2013, what do you have in store for me? Can we top 2012? Well, I think that we can if we just try? Where should we move next? Hahaha, away from home would be a good start since I can't live at home forever but for now it suits me. I mean it's comfortable. (Oh, damn I was just looking through my facebook pictures and I forgot about the release party/ fan event for Justin Bieber's Believe ). I don't really have any New Years resolutions. I never have any. It's just always the same. Do whatever you can to be whatev...
