Believing

You know what! I am almost finished with the Christmas shopping. I only have one present left to buy and then I am all done! Woop woop! I bought presents to all of the kids today, I mea the ones that I had left. That feels good, so now I just have one present left to get. I feel like, when am I going to queeze that in? Hahaha, I do have time, this weekend and I do have a little time next week after work since I only work from 7 AM to 11 AM. I have time on Friday next week but Thursday is all booked for Justin Bieber. Believe Movie . That is going to be so much fun! Before the movie a few of us Swedish Beliebers are going to have a little meet up. It's always fun to meet Beliebers because they are always so nice and welcoming (so are Directioners, but we are talking about Justin now). We are just going to meet up at McDonalds or something and talk and just get to know each other better. Like I am so excited for the movie! Like go Justin, go Beliebers! It's our fucking day! My ...

Throwback

Image
OMFG! Today it has been one year since I saw Justin Bieber live in Los Angeles on the Believe Tour! WOW! One year, already! How time just flies by! Aaaah, I mean it feels like it was jus yesterday that I saw him. I am very thankful that I got that chance to see him live and especially in LA out of all places! I remember this day last year so well. I remember that I had set the alarm on my phone because I was going from SB to LA that morning with the Greyhound bus. Like yeah, I of course didn't not want to miss the bus. But did the alarm go off when it was supposed to? NO! Like thank you! So I had to stress through eveything but I made it. I made it to LA and the Justin Bieber concert all on my own! Woop woop! I think that's a pretty huge thing, like I was 19 then, not that's like a huge accomplishment for a 19 year old but I kind of think it is since I am not from the US and I managed to take care of myself and plan that whole trip....

Flashback Friday

Do you know what today is? Exactly one year ago to the date I set off on a four month (and four days) long journey which involved college in the US. One year! Fuck! I mean it has been on year! One year ago (um, this post might be dated August 10th 2013, so just to clarify I moved to California August 9th 2012 - it probably will be dated the 10th since I usually blog around midnight) I moved to freaking California in the freaking United States of America! I mean it's so hard to imagine it even though it has happened! I mean I lived a life long dream of mine. There is no better feeling the living your dreams! Even though I had some rough times (and believe me I had) I am so thankful for the opportunity because otherwise I would just be sitting here and thinking "Why?", "What if?" etc. You know? I am so thankful for everything. I have so many other dreams that I want to achieve! I just have to be more driven. I know, or I mean what's stopping me from my other...

In Erika's World

I met my cousin today. It was so much fun since I barely get to see her 'cause she lives in the UK and I live here, in Sweden. I was fun catching up and hear about life in the UK. I want to move there. I have always wanted to live in London. Well, always, hmm I mean since the first time I went to London, which was when I was eight. I've been to London twice. Once when I was eight and then again when I was 13. Three times, that's if you count when I flew home from Cali in December. I flew from LA to London and then from London to Stockholm. I was just at the airport so I don't really count that. Hmmm.  I can't wait until next year when I am going to London for the 1D concert. OMG! I have a list of thing that I want to do, which means I need a job ASAP. I hate job hunting! But I need a job plus I want one 'cause that I'll have something to do. I'll find one. I'll have to otherwise I will be in some deep ass shit. I need a job, if you have one for me...

Midsummer Nights Eve

Image
Hi! So it's midsummer. I haven't done much really. I mean I went and saw The Bling Ring  with Linda. I mean everything is like closed so what else is there to do. Anyway it was good. I noticed that in the begging of the movie that Sam was wearing a bra from Victoria's Secret that I also have! LOL. I love watching movies and the realizing that I have the same clothes in my closet. Or as when I was in the United States, when I saw clothes on TV and then in a store. Which is kind of weird also, because I remember that I saw this sweater at Macy's and thought that I am never going to buy it and then I saw Bridigt Mendler wearing it on Good Luck Charlie . Well, I still thought I am not going to buy it but my first reaction when I saw it on TV was "Hey! That's that sweater from Macy's!" When I saw it at Macy's next time I was there I was like "Hey, it's actually kinda cute!" Long story short, I bought the sweater 'cause I realized that ...

9 to 5

I am a good hard working girl. I am. You know that I complained about having to read two chapters in my film history book for Monday. Yeah, well I read on my way to school, during my lunch hour and on my way home, that means that I only have nine pages left to read which I can just finish on Sunday because I ain't doing no homework tomorrow. Woop, woop. Hahaha. Anyway it feels nice to not have so much left to read. That way I can relax a little more this weekend and not feel pressured about having to do homework. I am looking at job on arbetsförmedlingen's website. Just for fun I check out what kinds of job they are offering abroad. In the UK then because, I mean it is a huge benefit you you know the language of the country that you're working in. Or what do you say? LOL. Most of it is just nanny/ au pair work. It sounds okay but involves kids and being responsible for someone else's child. It's not that I think that I can't do it it's more that I don...

In Sweden Again

Hi guys! I am sorry that I haven't blogged in a week. I came back to Sweden last Friday (the flight took about 20 hours or so because first when we got to London the plane couldn't land for about 20 minutes because other planes had to land. Then the plane from London to Stockholm was late to London. When we came to Stockholm we couldn't land because there was too much snow on the runway) and I have had some problems with accessing my account. Stupid google keep google keep logging me out for some weird reason. Gosh, hate that! Well now I am just sitting here watching Love Actually (I have never seen the whole movie before. Never. This time I am going to make it.) So what do you want to know? I mean about everything. The United States? I mean about my experience. OMG, I can tell you this for now. When I got there I thought it was Sweden was all better because if you excepted into a program you get all the course you need in order to get that degree the program will give yo...

All The Way From Stockholm to California

Oh em gee! can you guys believe it, in less than a week I'll be in the United States of America. the land of the free. Hahaha, okay I barely not as excited as I sound. I am not sitting here on the couch watching Solsidan  and laughing from excitement. If I'm laughing it's because the show is so damn darn funny. Solsidan , I recommend it. Gosh, the packing is, yeah, going the way it is. I have started over a few times. Hmm, you will see more of it in my new web series. So far I have just shoot scenes of me packing. Okay, so I haven't edited anything so the web series idea is still just in my head but yeah. I am going to try to take a lot of pictures during the trip from start to finish. All the way from Stockholm to California. your writer, Erika

Big Families

Yo, yo, yo! What's up dogs? Hahahaha. Gosh, I am watching this TV show about some British families. Unusual families. The show is called Big Families , and that's exactly what the show is about - families with lots and lots and lots of children. Gosh, there is one mom - who's a single mom, keep that in mind - with 14 children! 14, oh em gee, can you believe that!? She's raising 14 children all by herself! Well, not exactly by herself because on of her daughters takes lots of care of one of her younger sisters. She gives her a bath every night, puts her to bed and so on. The girl said the when she puts her little sister to bed the little sister gives her kisses and tells her that she loves her over and over. So the older sister kind of sees as her on child. Oh my god, that is the saddest thing ever! Close to it anyway. It should have to be like that! Just want to cry for the little girl. No, no, no! I get that you sometime have to help taking siblings, but not every nigh...

Been Busy

Yo, I just wanted to say I am sorry that I haven't blogged since last Thursday. Sorry. I have just been so busy with school and USA stuff. I've told you that I am moving to the United States in August right? I have told you that right? I have to have done that. Well, I am moving to the United States at the end of this summer. Now you know. If you have any questions just comment as usual and I will try my best to answer them. You know the Starbucks lattes that I posted a picture of the last Thursday. Last Saturday I saw another flavor, chocolate mocha. YUM! It taste just like o'boy but with a hit of coffee. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, anyway you should try them. At Hemköp they only cost 19,95 kr and at Pressbyrån they cost 25 kr. your writer, Erika
