Big Families
Yo, yo, yo! What's up dogs? Hahahaha. Gosh, I am watching this TV show about some British families. Unusual families. The show is called Big Families, and that's exactly what the show is about - families with lots and lots and lots of children. Gosh, there is one mom - who's a single mom, keep that in mind - with 14 children! 14, oh em gee, can you believe that!? She's raising 14 children all by herself! Well, not exactly by herself because on of her daughters takes lots of care of one of her younger sisters. She gives her a bath every night, puts her to bed and so on. The girl said the when she puts her little sister to bed the little sister gives her kisses and tells her that she loves her over and over. So the older sister kind of sees as her on child. Oh my god, that is the saddest thing ever! Close to it anyway. It should have to be like that! Just want to cry for the little girl. No, no, no! I get that you sometime have to help taking siblings, but not every night. No! I think that that is close to child abuse. Children should be allowed to just that, children.
Not like that was bad enough, when the single mom got pregnant with her 15th child she had a miscarriage (don't know which week). Of course she got really sad, that's understandable and only human to react in such way. I understand her on that part but she was so sad that she couldn't do anything around the house so two of her daughters - the one who felt like her little sister was her own and some other girl - had to stay home from school for three days to take care of their mom and do all of the housekeeping. No! I could have got that they stayed home because the were sad as well and just laid in bed grieving with their mom but not because they have to take care of their mom. SHE IS THEIR MOM AND SHE IS SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF THEM! Gosh woman, woman up! No, that's a little harsh, sorry I apologize. Not bad enough that she had a miscarriage, the father of the 15th child sold the press that he "escaped the baby machine"! What a duche!
Oh, guess what!? Her 15 year old daughter is pregnant and is now in labour. I was like what "Hasn't she learned anything by watching her mom?!". Hopefully everything works out alright for the 15 year old. I mean hopefully she doesn't have to struggle throughout her life. I have seen Teen Mom, 16 & Pregnant and that Danish show Unga Mödrar (young mothers) and I have seen home much those girls have to struggle to get by. Well, mostly the American girls. Most of the girls on Unga Mödrar move away from home before they give birth and some of them are as young as 16. I mean, huh? What I wonder there is, where do they get all of the money from? I know about the different types of welfare that you can get in Sweden but still, huh? In the MTV shows you get to see more of how the girls struggle to make every single penny count. Talking about the money thing, there is a or was a Norwegian version of Unga Mödrar and those girls seem to go shopping when they get their almoney. Like "Oh, tomorrow is the 20th, then we can go shopping!". In Unga Mödrar - the Danish version - it's more of the girls struggle to keep their children, not get they taken away by the social service.
